The Salt Lake Community College Film Program will be holding open auditions over two days in September for local actors and actresses to audition for roles in dozens of student films being produced. Actors are encouraged to come prepared with headshots, resumes, and a monologue to audition for roles under the supervision of faculty in order to provide experience for both the actors and SLCC film students.

To help SLCC students learn about casting and to find talented actors/actresses to appear in their student films, the SLCC Casting Department will be holding a general casting call. The casting session will allow actors/actresses the opportunity to audition for dozen of roles in films being produced at SLCC. The students will coordinate and direct the casting session under faculty supervision. Local actors/actresses will have the opportunity to continue honing their craft to find interesting projects being created by up and coming film makers.
