1. TOPIC SENTENCE This week I learned how the elevons and rudder work on a glider.
2. DEFINITION (WHAT ARE THEY?) The elevons enable the airplanes to go up and down.
The rudder enables the airplanes to go left and right.
3. SUPPORTING DETAILS (AT LEAST 2) When you move the rudder to the right, the airplane will turn right, and vice versa.
When you move the elevons up, the airplane will fly upward, and vice versa.
If you move the right elevon up and left elevon down, then the airplane will spiral to the left.
