Internship Opportunities 2014

The Eat Local Program is currently seeking an intern work under the mentorship of the Growing
New Farmer Program Manager with program coordination, implementation, administration, and
data entry. Internship hours are flexible and participants will have the option to spend one a day
week working on the Dirt Works Incubator Farm Teaching Acre. This is a project-based internship.
The Eat Local Initiative provides training, education and outreach
through the Growing New Farmers Program, Farm Services and
Eat Local Month. Dirt Works Incubator Farm is the project under
Eat Local providing farm incubation and apprentice training.
The Buy Local Initiative provides training, networking and
outreach through Member Services, GOODBusiness and Buy
Local Month. Local Works is a project under Buy Local
providing co-working facilities for local businesses and
headquarters for LLF.
The Buy Local Program is currently seeking an intern to work under the mentorship of the
Community Manager with Membership and Local Works program coordination, implementation,
administration, and data entry. Intern will be assisting with membership outreach, co-working
coordination, research, and outreach as needed. This is a project-based internship.

All candidates must be very organized, independent and willing to meet strict
deadlines. Interns will have access to office space and facilities at Local
Works but must provide your own computer and transportation.
