Great Verses

for Young Women

Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised
(Proverbs 31:30).
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing
(1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Know this, my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to
anger, for the anger of man does not work the righteousness of God (James 1:19-20).
Let not yours be the outward adorning with braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and
wearing of robes, but let it be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable jewel
of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in Gods sight is very precious (1 Peter 3:3-4).
Not that I complain of want; for I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content
(Philippians 4:11).
Shun immorality. Every other sin which a man commits is outside the body; but the
immoral man sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of
the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; you were
bought with a price. So glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
For this is the will of God, your sanctifcation: that you abstain from immorality. For
God has not called us for uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore whoever disregards this,
disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you (1 Thessalonians 4:3, 7-8).
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give
you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
