confirmation & Retirement settlements.
Establishment Division is the backbone of HRD department. It comprises of maintaining Human
Resources Information System pertaining to all India based employees of the Company, which is

While the market share of private operators soared to 41% from 1996 to 1999
(eating into IAs share), the initial euphoria died out in 1997 when the Air
Corporation Act of 1953 was repealed and mandatory for scheduled airlines to fly
at least 10% of their capacity to the far flung uneconomical areas such as north-
