As an educator, I firmly believe that

parents, teachers and students work

together to meet the needs of every
child in the classroom. I believe that
children learn best environment that is
safe, welcoming, nurturing and provides
for the learning styles of each individual
student!

Communication and caring is the key to
success in our classroom and I look
forward to building our classroom
community!

I am very excited to be a part of the
GWA community and working with your
child this year while we explore the
wonderful world of learning!

My name is Stephanie Batley and this is my second
year teaching as part of the staff at GWA. I have been
an international educator for two decades now and
am looking forward to expanding my learning by
working with the GWA community. My training
includes a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from
Humboldt State University in California, USA and a
Masters Degree in School and College Management
from Kingston University in England. This, of course,
is not the end of my education as I always tell the
children in my class I learn something new every
day!
Outside of my role as a
teacher, I love spending
time with my family and
friends, exploring new
places, reading and almost
any outdoor sport. This
summer I spent lots of time
with my children, Devon
and Kelsey, and my
granddaughter, Luna.
