Phase out of Liquid Level Sensor AKS 41 / AKS 41U

Required actions Secure smooth transition from current AKS 41/41U to AKS 4100/4100U

Timing and Affected
products
From January 2nd, 2012 Danfoss will only service AKS 41/41U orders where there is
no direct replacement by AKS 4100/4100U, and as long we have stock. Latest by
June 30th, 2012 the remaining stock will be scrapped.

Remaining AKS 41/41U will be fully discontinued and remaining stock will be
scrapped by January 2nd, 2012:

Cause Change to new liquid level sensor technology.



Customer implication
Spare parts for AKS 41/41U will still be available.


Probe length of 500 mm (AKS 41) and 19.2 (AKS 41U) or longer there is a direct
replacement by AKS 4100/4100U from mechanical, electrical and application side.

Selected OEMs have already been contacted in order to plan phase out/transfer to
AKS 4100/4100U
