Spelling Words
In Phonics we will again be reviewing short vowels a
like cat, e like bed, i like pig, o like fox, and u like bug.

Some examples of words to practice are
Short a: bat, wag, hat
Short o: pot, box, job
Short e: leg, net, red
Short i: pit, pig, six
Short u: nut, mug, fun

Our sight words from this week are
to, big, we, go , my

We will take a spelling test on 10 short vowel
words and these 5 sight words on Friday.
Please practice each night.
