dimension of health are in a good state.

- Relative and dynamic nature of health
o Relative considered in relation or in
proportion to something else.
o Dynamic Our state of health is constantly
changing.


Examine the dynamic nature of health by exploring:
- The interactions between the dimensions
o If the status of one dimension is compromised
then the others will be affected.
- The concept of good health

- The health continuum
o A continuum measures our health status at any
given moment in time. We move along this
continuum each minute each second.
- How health changes over time
o Health can change from minute to minute. Over
time our health will either improve or
deteriorate depending on circumstances.
- How an Individuals circumstances impacts on
health
o Our health potential is determined by our
heredity, experiences, and ability to make
informed decisions and opportunities to access
health services. Whether we are healthy will
largely be determined by the interaction of
heredity and environmental factors.
Determine to the degree to which perceptions of health are
socially constructed?
Perceptions of health are brought upon a range of factors which
ultimate decides how healthy a person is and can be. A persons
perception of health will become from their Environment,
