Dear Families,
My name is Nicole White and I have been teaching for 12 years as a middle
school teacher at Lancaster School District. My passion is science, however I have
taught 7
th
grade math, social studies, and accelerated reading, as well as 8
th
grade
science. I have been the coordinator and elective teacher for the AVID
(Advancement Via Individual Determination) program since 2004. This is my first
year at Santa Clarita Valley International and I cannot be more excited to be your
learners facilitator. There are so many exciting science labs that I would love to
incorporate into their learning throughout the year. Sparking curiosity and having
in-depth conversations are two things I cherish in and out of the classroom.
