Dear Ms Shepherd

Freedom of Information Act 2000 Request for Information

We are pleased to respond to your request for information and our response is set out
below.

Will recently announced changes to the Better Care Fund affect Calderdale's BCF plans?
If so, how? What measures will Calderdale use to reduce hospital admissions by
3.5%/year?

Target to reduce unplanned hospital admissions over next 5 years is set out in Planning
for Patients. A similar rationale has therefore been applied to setting out the target in our
BCF plans. The actions to be taken by the CCG and CMBC to deliver this target are set
out in the CCG's 5 Year Plan, and are primarily based around reductions in non-elective
activities for the 7 clinical priorities conditions identified - in line with national best practice.

How much is CCG Chief Exec paid each year-salary, expenses and pension
contributions?

Please see the Annual Report and Accounts (Remuneration Report) 2013-14 on
www.calderdaleccg.nhs.uk

Is the CCG Chair paid to do the Chair's job? If so, how much?

Please see the Annual Report and Accounts (Remuneration Report) 2013-14 on
www.calderdaleccg.nhs.uk

How much has CHFT asked CCG to increase the planned orthopaedic care contract this
financial year, as part of the CHFT plan to increase its income by 5.5m this financial
year?

As part of the jointly agreed 2014/15 contract demand planning process NHS Calderdale
CCG increased the plan by approximately 1m in Trauma & Orthopaedics. This was
mainly related to delivering increased access and considering forecasted demographic
growth and increases in GP referrals.

What does CCCG think of CHFT plans to increase its income this financial year through
providing increased private care and increased care of overseas patients?

This is not information that we hold.
