Model Extended Response Ferris Wheel

Both the Ferris Grand Idea article and The Ferris Wheel article deal with
the first days of the invention of the grand machine. While the initial article spends
a great deal of time describing the contraption from inception to the dismantling of
the first Wheel, the latter article deals with the emotions and ideas stirred in its first
observers and riders. The articles are presented factually, yet The Ferris Wheel
blends its facts with emotions and opinions of the people viewing the Wheel for the
first time stating, one old man declared, Life is too short to be risked in that way.
Additionally, the Grand Idea article explains that the Wheel was wildly popular but
sticks to facts to explain peoples interest describing that the cost of the first wheel
was $400,000 but in it first year of operation its earnings were more than $700,000!
Though the information presented in these two articles is clearly different, they are
wonderfully complementary to each other.
