Partial audit (5 files) of agency TCLEOSE licensing files conducted with Chief Deputy David McDonald and Saundra Wilson. Audit restricted to new licensees since last audit and all Firearms Qualifications.
Listed documents missing from files- 30 day compliance notice given. Although approved in previous audits, agency has been using Livescan system for required applicant Fingerprint searches. Agency will
re-submit all print cards to DPS for inspection. Several L2's in files were also signed by PA's, which the agency will correct by getting a letter from the authorizing Physician at the clinic used. During audit,
changes to Telecommunicator requirements was discussed, as well as need for High School or GED verification instead of college. FSA also assisted with submission of Training Rosters on TCLEDDS.
