Brief Description (in your own words):
In the last few minutes of class ask students to write down on a note card a response or
question to the daily objective or lesson focus written on the board. Review them and the next
day go over the responses out loud and initiate a class discussion and ask inferential questions.
How you plan to use this strategy in your Practicum, Internship, Student Teaching, or in your
classroom:
This would be beneficial in my internship when Im reviewing the previous class and seeing how
the students interpreted what I went over on the board. If the lesson was learning about the
difference between anaerobic and aerobic activity questions or responses could like:
Why would sprinting be considered anaerobic?
Why do muscles need oxygen to last a long time?
The students can make their own connections to the answers and help each other learn
because if a peer has one way of remembering the same way might help another peer
remember.
