Events and Promotion Unit Dublin City Council

Dublin City Council is proud to be associated with the variety of events that are held
in Dublin on an annual basis. The Events Unit works to ensure that events held in
Dublin ofer variety, diversity, fun, excitement, and there are opportunities for
everyone to enjoy the entertainment, fun, and celebrations of the City in a family-
friendly, inclusive and safe environment.
Our role in the events unit is to grant permission for events and activates that take
place in the public space. We partner up on various eventsand are on hand to provide
an advisory role and a Liaison servicewhen to comes to running your event / activity and
there are plenty of events to choose from with all ages catered the range of events includes
sports, theatre, festivals, family entertainment, dance, culture, markets and literature.

This year there are returning event favourites such as the Rose Festival in St
Annes Park, Bram Stoker Festival, Culture Night and Christmas celerations!
