Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in the Assistant Research Technologist position

as mentioned from the posting on www.sickkids.on.ca/CareersVolunteering/Find-a-
Career/Search-Jobs.html, and have enclosed my resume for your consideration.

As described in my resume, I have more than 2 years experience in programming

of the image processing algorithms including registration and segmentation, GUI
programming, data acquisition, data analysis and signal processing. I am also
familiar with the basic concept of different medical imaging techniques such as US,
CT, MRI, EEG and MEG.

As a direct result of my past work experience, I have become a self-starter and self
motivated person with willingness to learn the required knowledge of the job. In
addition my research experience has enhanced my learning and communication
skills. Also my experience as an Electronic Engineer combined with my Biomedical
Master’s degree especially familiarity with the concept of MRI, MEG and co-
registration of the MEG and MRI images will enable me to thrive on your research
team.

Furthermore, I should mention that I am most impressed by your Vision and

Neuroscience research topics especially your efforts to understand the brain
mechanisms that cause crossed and lazy eye by using MRI and MEG imaging
techniques. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my technical skills to
your research environment.
I would like to thank you for taking my application into consideration and look
forward to hearing back from you.

Truly yours,
