Helensburgh Public School Awards Review 2014

We are currently reviewing our system of giving awards to students and invite you to contribute to our
review by completing the following survey. We value your opinion. We encourage you to complete
and return this survey to the school by Monday 15
th
September 2014.

At the moment students are rewarded for effort, achievement and behaviour through the giving of
stickers, stamps or points in the classroom and playground which amount to Class Awards, Gold
Awards, Principals Awards and Principals Medallions. 10 Class Awards equals a Gold Award and 4
Gold Awards equals a Principals Award. The 2 students in each class with the most Class Awards at
the end of the year receive a Principals Medallion. Principals Awards are given out at K-6
assemblies.
