    Preparation:
    1. Dissolve chemicals in 800 ml of purified water by stirring in a beaker.
    2. Adjust pH to 7.4 with 1 N HCl.
    3. Transfer to a graduated cylinder and adjust volume to 1 L with purified water.
    4. Sterilize by filtering through a 0.2-m filter flask or autoclaving.
