Problem addressed: The problem addressed in this research paper is the satisfaction of customer from Islamic banking system in comparison with conventional banking, the level of awareness about products offer by Islamic institutions. It further investigates the relationship between different demographic variables and customer satisfaction. It also investigate that whether customer prefer both Islamic and conventional banking.

3. Prior research: The impression of Islamic banking is not new. Islamic banking is very easily receiving appreciation in the financial world. The conventional banking industry is a deep-rooted challenger for the Islamic banking industry (IBI). The Islamic banking system (IBS) was introduced due to the motive that there was the necessitate of financial institution for Muslim customers who could satisfy their requirements and demands. Because the conventional banking industry is completely based on the interest based system which is prohibited in the Islamic shari'ah rules. Therefore Muslims could do with such institute which make available them the Islamic policy for their financial transactions. in sequence to obtain knowledge about the customer's satisfaction and their thoughts towards Islamic banking products and its services, some studies were conducted in different area of the world in both in Islamic and non-Islamic countries.
