Backgrounds enhancing open spaces

The Rajabai Tower along with the
Mumbai High court and the Institute of
Science come under important
buildings with a strong history for
Mumbai city. These buildings have a
beautiful open foreground of the Oval
maidan in front.
Having such monumental buildings in
the backdrop, makes the space in front
of it equally important. Hence, because
of these buildings the Oval maidan has
many visitors. The Tourists coming to visit
the buildings by default notice the open
spaces around for example oval
maidan being quite a huge space is
noticed very quickly.
The silhouette created by these
monumental buildings especially the
Rajabai Clock Tower is very beautiful to
see. The Rajabai tower acts as a certain
landmark as well.
The high court and the institute of
science being used frequently allows
the flow of people in the oval maidan.
