Year & ECE 2
nd
Year (Sec-1 & Sec-2)

MM. 30 Time: 90 Mins

Note: attempt any six questions. All carry equal marks.

1. Explain the working principle of Liquid in Glass thermometer with construction. Also differentiate
between partial immersion and complete immersion.
2. Describe the working of voltage to frequency converter (VFC).
3. Explain how the optical encoder helps in displacement measurement.
4. Describe the working of CRT with neat sketch.
5. Explain how the proximity sensor detects the nearby objects.
6. Design the active high pass filter. Determine the gain of filter. Also draw the frequency response of the
filter.
7. How the flow of liquid can be measured by using LASER.
