Reflective writing Nº1: The Observation Stage

I. Introduction
• What do you think the cartoon provided below is illustrating? Why?
Answer briefly.

Well, that’s in more commun that we thought, people usually have a

lot of information around them, but it is easely to watch farther and
give opinion about that, but not to see the things that happend
around us every day.

II. Reflective writing

1.- It is very important, because you can see the students and the
teacher in action. The way that they acting each other, and the way
that they are commitment with the English class. How much the
students are interested on it. Also I could see how works the school
in terms of discipline, environmental relationship with all the people
who are in the schoo.

2. Well, I’m from the Evening Programm, so I had to find the school to
do my practice, but I also had some expectations about the school,
specially because I knew that they had a student who won a English
competition, so I was a little nerveous about it.

3. I felt very nervous at first, but they were very kind with me. But
when I meet the teacher I see that she had a lot of experience
teaching, so I thought that It would be a very good practice to me,
because she really wanted to teach too.
