Whats Happening?

PLOT
PLOT IS
What is happening
in a story.

It is made up of
five parts.
EXPOSITION
The beginning of the story where
you are introduced to the storys
setting, characters, and the
beginning of the conflict.
RISING ACTION
Rising action is when the story takes
off and the events start to affect the
characters. This is where things
get interesting. The conflict shows
up here.
CLIMAX
This is the big finish! The storys most dramatic point
is the climax. Typically it comes near the end of the
story and wraps up the conflict.
FALLING ACTION
This is the immediate fallout, or
reaction from the characters, to the
events of the climax. This leads to
resolution.
RESOLUTION
This is the wrap up of the story and is the logical ending of
the story you just told/wrote. There should be a sense of
completion and conclusion.
