Master Chef

Fettuccini


Ingredients (for 2):
2 teaspoons Olive Oil
2 Shallots
2 Mushrooms
Onion
2 Rashers Bacon
1 Clove of Garlic
Packet of Fettuccini Pasta
2 Eggs
200mL Cream
Cup Parmesan Cheese

Equipment:
Damp paper towel To prevent movement of chopping board
Srub To clean sink and dishes
Plug To block the sink to wash dishes
Detergent To clean dishes
Dish Cloth To wipe away food particles from bench

Gathering Ingredients:
Plastic Tray To carry equipment and food to bay
Plate For ingredients
Measuring Jug To measure the cream
Wooden Spoon To stir the food in the pan
Teaspoon To measure out the olive oil

Equipment (Preparation):
Chopping board For cutting vegetables and preparing wrap
Whisk To whisk the egg yolks, cream and cheese
Garlic Crusher To crush the garlic
Tongs To stir pasta
Sharp knife For cutting
Scrap bowl For putting scraps in
Bread & Butterknife To crack the eggs
Pasta Strainer To strain the pasta
Pan To cook the bacon, shallots, mushrooms and onion
Bowls To put the egg yolk in and mix with the cheese and cream
Pot To boil the pasta

Time Plan
1:45 Enter room and gather required equipment
2:00 Set up equipment and gather ingredients
2:05 Boil water and prepare ingredients
2:20 Cook bacon, shallots, mushroom, onion.
2:35 Whisk the cream mixture together and stir pasta
2:40 Mix the cream and pasta together
2:50 Wash up equipment
2:55 Teacher checks equipment and bay
3:00 Return equipment and sanitize work area

Method:
1. Prepare equipment and gather ingredients
2. Place a pot of water, full onto the stove to boil
3. Wash all vegetables, and mushrooms
4. Peel and cut shallots
5. Slice mushrooms
6. Peel and dice onion
7. Remove fat from bacon and cut into strips
8. Crush the garlic
9. When water is boiling, carefully add the fettuccini and stir until it is al dente.
10. Cook the shallots, bacon, onion until the bacon is evenly browned, then add mushrooms
11. Carefully drain the pasta and return back to the pot
12. Break the eggs and separate the yolks from the white
13. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, cream and cheese
14. Add the bacon mixture to the pasta and the pour the creamy mixture over the top, stir
gently.
