    The Executive Council of Newfoundland and Labrador approved the minutes of a meeting where it was decided that the 2010 Argentia wind power project would not proceed. Under subsection 50(2) of the Environmental Protection Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council directed that the 2010 Argentia wind power project would not proceed based on it being contrary to the Government policy outlined in OC2006-026.
