CAUSES OF ENVIROMENTAL POLLUTION:
The pollution has been divided in three main branches: Atmospheric contamination, Water
contamination and Ground Contamination.
- Atmospheric Contamination: Is any change in the air equilibrium, this change is generated by
a non-natural external agent, like the fuel used for heat, to generate electric energy or
movement since it emit polluting gases. These gases affect normal development of plants,
animals, and also affect negatively the human health.
- Water Contamination: Is the disturbance of water natural characteristics produced by the
human activity that makes it unsuitable for drinking, or to life support for plants or animals. As
result of this contamination the water has changed it color and composition due to all the dirt
that reaches to it. All this dirtiness alter it taste, density, purity, et cetera.
- Ground Contamination: Is the physic, chemical, or biologic imbalance of the ground that
negatively affects to the plants, animals and humans. This pollution is caused by chemical
substances and garbage.
Among the main ground contaminants we can find the heavy metals like LEAD and CADMIUM.
Another cause of contamination is the deforestation.

CONSEQUENCES:
Human health: Ozone pollution cause respiratory diseases, cardiovascular disease, throat
inflammation, chest pain, congestion. Water pollution causes approximately 14.000 deaths per
day mostly due contamination of drinking water. Lead and another heavy metals haven been
