Dear Sirs,
Im a Master degree student in Aerospace engineering at Polytechnic of Turin. Im writing to
you as I am very interested about the possibility to join an internship in Onera from January to
June.
Through my degree course, I have been able to develop my interest in multidisciplinary
optimization methods for aircraft design and I have gained experience in working as part of a
team for the development of several projects. In one of these work we have developed a
preliminary regional jet project and I have learned to use CAD drawing software ( SolidWorks
and Catia ) and finite volume software such as Patran-Nastran for the structural analysis. It
was a real challenge and a very interesting experience for me, which led me to increase my
engineering knowledge.
I hardly desire to join an internship in a prestigious institute as Onera, in this manner, I could
have the possibility to work with full experience professors and researchers improving my
personals skills and abilities. I think that the knowledge learned in these years could me
provide the main skills necessary for this work and I am fascinated by the possibility to learn
something new from this experience.
