APAW

It stands for A Problem a Week and it is done by posting different word problems
every week on a Math Bulletin Board or a rooms Math Corner. Solutions and answers to
these word problems will be kept in a portfolio by pupils to be checked by the teacher
every end of the week.

MULTIPLICATION TABLE RECITAL

It is done at least twice a week after the flag ceremony to help the pupils master the
Multiplication Table. Pupils take turns in reciting it to ensure review at home.

MATH CORNER in SOME CLASSROOMS

Math corner is a space provided for pupils to use quality time in other math activities.
It has a separate table, chair and a small shelf for Math Kits and other Math Devices. This
space can also be used in Math remedial lessons and other related purposes.


USE SHOW ME BOARDS

Show me board is a small white board which is written on with a non-permanent
marker used by pupils to answer oral questions asked by the teacher. Through this, the
teacher can easily monitor individual progress throughout the lesson. Moreover, it is used
in place of illustration board and chalk for pupils to have a cleaner work.
