Hidden Like Anne Frank

By Jaden Harding

Hidden like Anne Frank is 14 true stories of survival, and it is a project by Marcel
Prims and Peter Henk Steenhuis. The stories take place in Amsterdam in World War 2.
All of the storytellers are Jewish and the story is an information narrative. They
explain the tragic times that they went through, they explain it so realistically that
you think that you are there, hiding with them.
This book would be for someone who wants to deepen their knowledge in World War 2
and the tragic times that the Jewish went through. The book goes through different
series of stories and each story is great! Although there are many different stories my
favorite would be Jaap sitters with a chapter entitled; The Stars Have Gone Away
here is a sneak peak:
One day we heard someone banging on the front door. Upstairs! called father. I
flew into my hiding place between the first and second floors. I heard the sound of
army boots in the corridor and the Germans growing closer and closer. Finally the
noises died down and the door opened and closed.
Wed been lucky.
Overall if youre into history and learning more
about World War 2 I suggest you start reading
Hidden like Anne Frank today!
I adore this book but some people might find it
hard to follow through all the stories. In my
opinion I rate Hidden like Anne Frank a
