SSL VPN Setup Guide

Click on the Forticlient Setup :

Choose Forticlient SSL VPN
:


Run the Forticlient installer and click next:



Choose the Free Edition click next:


Read the end user agreement for forticlient & check the checkbox.
Then click Next button

Choose the Custom Button:

Leave IPSec VPN unchanged & choose Entire Feature unavailable for all other function.
Then click Next

Click Install button once all setting are confirm :


Wait until the installation complete:

Click Finish button once the installation completed:


Once completed Forticlient will start to run:

Choose Basic Setup & Click Update


Once update completed press Close

Forticlient will be automatically launched:


Choose VPN & proceed to choose Connections, Click under Advanced choose
Import

Select the profile which has been created:


Import successful & you will notice the VPN profile will be automatically added. Kindly
press Connect

Kindly type Username & Password for the VPN Access:


Click OK once done

The VPN will start to establish the connection upon verify the user authentication:


VPN is successfully connected on the Fortinet Virtual Adapter

Kindly test the connection with the servers to confirm on the connectivity:


To exit the VPN Tunnel please proceed to Forticlient & choose Disconnect
