Newtons laws of motion are
three physical laws that
together laid the foundation for
classical mechanics . They
describe the relationship
between a body and the forces.
They have been expressed in
several different ways over
nearly three centuries.
Any body continuous to be in a
state of rest or uniform motion
in a straight line until an
unbalanced external force is
applied . This is also known as
law of inertia
The rate of change of
momentum of a body is directly
proportional to the unbalanced
external force acting on it and
change in momentum is in the
direction of the force . This is
Newtons second law of motion.
That is, F = ma
To every action there is an equal
and opposite reaction . This is
Newtons third law of motion
Artificial satellites are taken to
space by rockets.
