Menu Courses Sequence

Starters or Appetizers
They include the Italian antipasto:
Cold cuts(Italian salami and bresaola,ham)
Seafood salad
Olives
Bruschetta(toasted bread with garlic,oil
and salt)
Boiled prawns in a cocktail
sauce
Main Courses
They include the Italian Primo Piatto and
Secondo Piatto with Contorno(side
dishes).
First courses
They consist of pasta or rice dishes and
soups.
Soups are minestroni soup or meat broth
with tortellini.
Pasta dishes
Pasta dishes include
Spaghetti with pesto,tomato sauce etc
Ravioli:it is pasta filled with meat,vegetables or
cheeses.
Gnocchi:they arelittle balls made of potatoes.
Cannelloni:they are rolls of fresh pasta with
different fillings.
Lasagne:it is made of layers of fresh pasta filled
with bechamel sauce,rag and cheese.
Rice dishes
Risotto:it is rice cooked with broth and
various ingredients such as
mushrooms,fish,sausage and tomato.
Second courses
They consist of meat dishes:
Grilled or stuffed meat
Pecora in cappotta:it is sheep meat boiled
with onion and potatoes.
Or fish dishes:
Grilled fishes
The Italian fritto misto(fried squid,scampi
and shrimps)


Side dishes
They are usually served with second
courses:
Tomato salad
French fries
Mixed salad
Grilled vegetables
Afters
They include cheeses,desserts,fruit,coffee
and liqueurs.
