The inside of the arms MUST be reinforced so

they don't colapse with time. You can use other
ways to avoid them colapsing, like the use of
wires going from the hand of one arm to the
hand of the other. Just poke two holes on the
inside of the coffin and pass a wire thru the holes.
If using this, make sure the wire is not too thick
so it can "hurt" the arms. I used superglue to
glue the wires to the inside of the coffin.

The arms should be

glued only after the details are glued and the
main coffin piece is reinforced and dry.
Be carefull when gluing the lower arms, since
they are the main stabilizer for the model.
You can use some weight inside the model to
help the balancing and take some o f the presure
from the arms.

For a smoother result,

round the arm pieces
using a pencil.

The arms aren't hard

to build. Start at the
fingers, following the
numbers, glue the palm.
54

The arm itself is the

worst part and it's pretty
simple too.

Start the model at the top of the coffin and

close at the bottom. Make SURE to glue the
top details BEFORE gluing the arms, specially
the higher one. The pieces glue on the order
they are numbered.

Close the mouth here ^

6/9 (row2 col3)

REINFORCE THE INSIDE

OF THE COFFIN! This is
really important, since the
arms will get heavy.

7/9 (row3 col1)

Close the medal

at the back.

GLUE PIECE 3 RIGHT

AFTER THE TOP
OF THE BODY IS
BUILT.

61

Close the eyes

at the back.
13

First glue the top detail. After that, the side ones.
The mouth is glued after that. The eyes go on top
of the side details. The medal go on the top of the
rest. Use good glue to attach them, superglue is
indicated. These pieces ain't hard, but they ain't
easy as well, specially the side ones. Start closing
them at the bogger part of the last pieces and
work to the front of the pieces.

8/9 (row3 col2)

Be carefull while you cut the pieces of this page. Start

these details by the bottom detail and work by layers
to the side. Glue the second pieces of this page

10

BEFORE gluing the first pieces connections.
