ThiruHemant Kumar Sinha, I.A.S., Principal Secretary/Managing
Director, Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited, Chennai-2
conducted the Meeting of the Liaison Officers of various State/Central
Government Departments and Undertakings at Island Grounds on 27
th

December 2013 at 11:30 am. He reviewed the progress made by the various
departments in the construction of the pavilions. He exhorted the Liaison
Officers to complete their pavilions before 31
st
December 2013 to facilitate
inauguration of the Fair during first week of January 2014.
He directed all the Government Departments to display working models
innovatively in their pavilions to highlight the various welfare schemes being
implemented by the State Government. He requested the Police Department and
Fire and Rescue Services Department to take adequate safety measures for the
visiting public. He directed the T.T.D.C Officials to install Surveillance
Cameras at vantage points covering both the Government and Commercial
Sectors and also at the Entry and Exit gates to regulate the crowd. The Liaison
Officers assured that they will complete their pavilions before 31
st
December.

Gabriel, DRO/GM, TTDC and N. Prabhakaron, GM (Finance) TTDC and the
Liaison Officers of all the 42 State/Central Government Departments and
Undertakings participated in the meeting.
After the meeting, the Managing Director conducted a detailed inspection
of the various works in progress and instructed the officials to expedite the
construction by working during night also for which adequate lighting has been
provided.
