Description of my Hometown

I believe that one can never leave home. I believe that one carries the shadows, the dreams, the fears and the
dragons of home under one's skin``
Moldova is my motherland.I was born in Chisinau the capital of Moldova, the center of all the important events.
Its the biggest city in the country, however its relatively small comparing to the big world cities Its a pretty,
friendly place with old historical building, but also new and modern. Oficially the population of Chisinau is about
700.000 people and it doesnt feel too crowded. In the Spring through Summer its green with a lot of vegetation
blossoming.
Visiting Chisinau you could visit a lot of entertainment places like theater, cinema, concert halls, art galleries, lots
of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, spas, casinos and many others. All these are very close to each other. Its amazing
how much you could do in one day just on the central Stefan cel Mare street.
Landscapes of Moldova are extraordinary attractive representing the hilly plain dismembered by river valleys.
From the North on the South as well as from the West on the East Moldova is presented by one landscape of East
European plain. Northern part of the country is more hilly unlike southern for which lakes, small rivulets and other
reservoirs are characteristic. All rivers of Moldova concern pool of Black sea, largest of which Dnestr and Rod.
It has green heels, picturesque villages, peaceful lakes and large sunflower fields. All
they are impregnate with the original charm, caused by the long
and rough history of this land. There are some of the best vineyards in Europe.
Chisinau is a surprising town situated on the seven heels.
The art of producing and usage of grapes, grapes juice and vine was and
remains the compound part of the Moldovan peoples culture. White stork Is the emblem
of Moldovan vine. Usually vine gets its name either from the sort of grapes it was produced
from or from the name of the vine producing economy: Purcari, Cricova, Chiumai
,Romaneshti, Cojushna, Mileshtii Mici. Because of its quality Moldovan vines
are known in many countries of the world and are appreciated by the most exacting judges.
To conclude, Iwould like to say that I like my motherland as it is,small ,but warm and cozy.
