I am aspirant for CFA Level-3 exam which i think will help me further enhancing
my skills and knowledge in finance and
investment research and enrich my chances to become a financial analyst with rep
uted firm. I am a engineering gradute
from IIT Kanpur, one of the most pretigous engineering college in India. I stood
in top 10% students of graduating batch
in my department.I have been working in Analytics Industry for 2 years where i h
ave learned various statistical model
building techniques and also learnt effective client management.
I am one of the few thousand holder of advanced ham radio and satelite operator
in India.
Financial knowledge through CFA exam curriculum coupled with my current job expe
rience wil help me land in financial
research industry. My future goal is to become a proficient and ethical investme
nt manager.
The CFA will provide me with a broad range of investment knowledge and high ethi
cal standards of which will provide
my future employer with a well-rounded individual. In working towards my CFA, I
will not only learn and apply finance
but economics, accounting and basic business management. I also plan to expand
on my financial analyst real-life
experiences and relate them to what have studied for the CFA (and vise-versa), s
o I can apply my education in a
meaningful manner.
Not only will the CFA help me with my career, but also to help me grow as a pers
on, learning self-discipline and
guidance. The CFA will also help me keep on track with my future profession, and
will keep concepts and ideas fresh
in my mind and will make them easier to recall and use when needed.
Having the CFA charter is a sign of competence and professionalism in the Inves
tment Banking Service field. Also, the
knowledge learned is a distinguishing factor among investment professionals. The
CFA charter would increase my knowledge
base and improve my marketability.
My goal is to complete the CFA exams by next year and the CFA access scholarship
would help me achieve my goal of
becoming a CFA charter holder faster as I would otherwise spend a long period sa
ving up for the exam fees.
