1. Create a new standard
part
2. Create a new 2D Sketch
3. Draw the shape shown
below and dimension it as
you go. Start with the 6.0
by 4.0 inch lines.
4. When finished drawing
click on finish sketch.



5. Select Extrude and then Extrude Join 2.0 inches and click OK.

6. Create a new 2D sketch and draw a diagonal from corner to corner as shown. Click on Finish Sketch.



7. Click on Extrude and
Extrude Cut the upper
triangle, change the
distance to All, and then
click OK.

8. Change the color of the part from the default gray to some other color. In the Appearance box, use
the pull down arrow to find the color you want. The appearance box is at the top of the screen and is
shown in red below.

Use the pull down menue to select the color you want.

You are now done creating the part.
Remember to save the part and to turn it inn to the drop box in School Loop.
