Aperture

Definition
The Aperture is opening the lense
that controles the amout of light
that is passing through
What is the Aperture for?
The Aperture controles :
how much of the picture is in focus
how much light is allowed to pass through

The depth of field (DOF)
The Depth of field is the amout of the picture that is
on focus.
Measured in f-stops doubles or halves the size of
the amount of opening the lense.
Large depth of field
Most of the image will be on focus. (f29)
Small/shallow depth of field
One part of the picture will be on focus (f4,5)
How can I change the
Aperture?
You can either controle the Aperture when you have
your camera on AU
Or when you have it on M and than use the wheel and
press AU
