About the event:
Desi Night is a cultural event in Education City by the students of VCUQatar. We took an
initiative to conduct a Desi event filled with dances, singers and of course food to showcase the
rich South-East Asian Culture.
The main aim of this is to showcase and encourage the upcoming talents in all
universities in Qatar. Desi Night till date has been one of the most popular events that have
been always escalating and successful for the past four years.
This year we would like to bring back the event as an alumni team of VCUQatar, who
are also conducting a dance competition in Qatar (Dohas Dancing Superstar - DDS). The finale
of the dance competition will be held during Desi Night 5.0.
A celebrity dancer from India is travelling to Qatar for the show, whose expenses and
other formalities will be taken care by the sponsors.

Food:
Light snacks/ refreshments will be provided.
