Request for Coverage: TRACS Summit February 27 and 28

College Station, TEXAS Texas A&M University will host the second annual Texas Regional Alliance
for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) Summit on February 27 and 28 in the Bethancourt Ballroom B of
the Memorial Student Center. Over 140 registrants from thirty Texas institutions and one school from
Mexico, including over fifty students from numerous universities across the state, will be in
attendance.
The summit will feature speakers from Texas A&M University, the National Wildlife Federation,
Siemens, the University of Texas at Austin, and Rice University, among others. Sessions include
presentations on sustainability in higher education, sustainability internship programs, and
sustainability and service-learning. Posters will be presented Friday morning at 8 a.m. An agenda for
the summit has been attached.
