Orientation of new Key Officers FY 2014/2015

The immediate past key officers explained the duties and
responsibilities of their respective posts to the in-coming
Key Officers.
Award Presentation Ceremony
An award presentation ceremony was held during our schools
assembly and was witnessed by all the teachers and students. Our
principal, Miss Hajah Hasimah gave away the award certificates to
the award receivers and Past President Joel handed over the
Excellent Club Award banner to Miss Hajah Hasimah.

Handover Ceremony
A handover ceremony was held during school
assembly. The immediate past key officers handed
over the clubs files to the new key officers and our
school principal, Miss Hajah Hasimah pinned the
nametags on the new key officers Leo vests.

Handover of Family Tree

The past key officers handed over
the family trees to the new key
officers. This is another form of
giving responsibilities to the key
officers in continuing the success
of our Leo Club and to achieve the
objectives of the club.

Leo Garden Maintenance

Leos went to the Leo Garden
together with the faculty advisors.
We watered the family trees and
put the fertiliser so that the trees
can grow healthily. Leos worked
together to keep our garden in
pristine condition as a symbol of
our clubs unity and fruitfulness.

Youth Exchanges from Japan

Leo Christie, Leo Kuscera &
Leo Gloria attended the
Farewell Dinner for Youth
Exchanges from Japan at
Grand Palace Hotel. Leos had a
great farewell with Lions, 4
Japanese YEs and Leos from
other Leo Clubs.

The event was held
in Dynasty Hotel.
Leadership Camp
Two Leos from our Leo Club, Leo
Alicia Tan and Leo Vanessa
Nading attended the leadership
camp organized by our school at
Gua Niah Miri.
National-level Cluster Schools Carnival 2014
for Sarawak, Sabah & Labuan zone
One of our Leo members, Leo Nicole was represented our school
to attend the cluster schools carnival at SMK Methodist Sibu

Participation in Pesta Tanjong Kolej 2014
Pesta Tanjong is one of
our schools annual
activities. The Organising
Chairperson for this
fundraising project is
Leo Esther Martin.
During Pesta Tanjong, our
Leo club sold handicrafts
from PDK Miri, and
cupcakes to the parents,
teachers, staffs and
students.
Our club managed to
raise RM329. The fund
raised will be donated to
PDK Miri in the future
project.
Farewell Dinner for
Youth Exchanges from Taiwan
3 Leos from our Leo club had attended the Farewell Dinner for Youth
Exchanges from Taiwan hosted by 8 Lions Club of Miri which was held
at Grand Palace Hotel on the 23rd of August 2014. They managed to
meet and greet with 2 youth exchanges from Taiwan and established
good rapport with Lions and other Leo Clubs members during the
dinner.
Participation in schools Hari Raya Celebration
(RIMUP RAYA)
A celebration was held in school to celebrate Hari Raya together
with all the school communities. This is to build rapport among
the students of different races and cultures.
Participation in schools Sports Day 2014
Our school Sport Day was held at Stadium Miri.
Teachers and students had fun and it was a great
way to build a good relationship among the schools
community.
Joint Lions and Leos Initiation and Installation
This ceremony was held at Eastwood Valley, Miri where Lions
and Leos were officially initiated and inducted. Our Guest of
Honour was DG Dato Betty Wong. Leo Club of Kolej TDTH
Bujang have total of 20 newly inducted members and installed 16
BOD members for the fiscal year 2014/2015
Joint Lions and Leos Banquet Night
8 Leos from our club attended the Banquet Night. The Leos managed to
have a great fellowship with Lions and Leos from other Leo Clubs that
attended the dinner.
Ambang Kemerdekaan Kolej 2014
Our Leo Club
participated in the
schools Ambang
Kemerdekaan. Leos
managed to strethen
the bonds between
them with the
teachers and students
of Kolej TDTH Bujang
during the event. The
event was held at the
schools hall.

Merdeka Cheer 2014
Themed Instilling Care for the
Needy Merdeka Cheer aimed to
bring cheer and happiness to 25
underprivileged hostel students of
Kolej TDTH Bujang in conjunction
with the Merdeka Celebration
Month and Malaysia Day.
These students were sponsored a
meal each at KFC, Bintang Megamall
and a few games at Megalanes East
Miri, Bintang Megamall and some
amount of donation in cash to lessen
their burden.

Help for Peace Poster Competition held at
Permaisuri Mall Miri

volunteered to lend a
hand for the Peace
Poster Competition
organized by Lion PP
John Ling
Book Donation in conjunction with
International Literacy Day
This project aimed to add more variety of books in the school library and
inculcate reading culture among the students.
The organising chairperson, Leo Zuniga presented the books worth RM300 to
the school principal during the assembly.
The book donation project was witnessed by all students and teachers of Kolej
TDTH Bujang
The smallest act of kindness is
worth more than the grandest
intention.
