SPIRIT WEEK
Tomorrow is Neck Tie Day!

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
If you are interested in joining Science Olympiad, there will be an informational meeting
tomorrow until 3:00 in Mrs. Butchers classroom. All grades are invited.

STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council members - don't forget there is a meeting after school tomorrow for
any representatives that need to make suggestion folders for the classes they
represent. Please see Charley Tuley or Mrs. Cummings if you have any questions.

CROSS COUNTRY
Come support your HMS Cross Country team tonight at their only home meet this year.
The meet will be held at the high school. Sixth grade will run at 4:30, 7
th
& 8
th
grade
boys at 5:00 and 7
th
& 8
th
grade girls at 5:30. Also, Cross Country runners remember
you have pictures immediately after school. Report to Coach Sweets room dressed in
your uniform.

EDRU SKATE NIGHT
Edru Skate would like to invite you to Student ID Night on Saturday, October 4
th
from
7:30 until 11:30pm. Bring your student ID or pick up a free pass in the school office.
Students simply show their ID or pass to receive free admission. Every student
entering the building is required to skate. Skaters are allowed to bring in their own
skates or blades. Regular skate rentals are available for a $3 charge or blade rentals for
$5.

SPARTAN MVPS (Spartans Mentoring in Values & Purpose)
Fliers are available in the office for the Spartan MVPs, the official club of the MSU
Womens Basketball Team. The MVP Basketball Club is more than just basketball. Its
about developing kids throughout Mid-Michigan on and off the court. Club members
receive admission to all home games, special reserved seating, a t-shirt, basketball
clinics, a tour of the Breslin Center and special events and contests.

ALL GIRLS
Girls, listen up! If you are creative, like science or math, and want to explore hands-on
projects be sure to check out WOW! Thats Engineering! Its a day at MSU for girls to
learn about engineering by doing cool projects. Information is available in the office,
the deadline for registration is October 17
th
