Be Thankful
Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and
confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.
Always be thankful for Gods blessings.
In everything, give thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
There was a man named Naboth; he had a beautiful vineyard with
big, purple grapes that tasted so good. King Ahab had vineyards
of his own but he really liked Naboths vineyard and he wanted it
for himself. Naboth wouldnt let King Ahab buy his vineyard. King
Ahabs wife, Jezebel, was not a good woman. She was evil and
wicked. She told her husband that Naboth had no right to deny him.
She told her husband she would get the vineyard for him. Jezebel
had Naboth killed; King Ahab was happy. The Lord spoke to the
prophet Elijah and told him what King Ahab and Jezebel had done.
God was not happy with them. King Ahab repented and asked God
to forgive him. 1 Kings 21:1-21
Dear God,
I worship You with a thankful heart. Thank you for my
parents, teachers, friends and Pastor Ron and his family.
May they run and not be weary. May they walk and not
faint. (Is. 40:31) Teach me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth.
Help me to always tell the truth and speak Your truth.
Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Psalm 100:4
