4. Diagram 4 shows a pendulum wall clock. A pendulum clock has a pendulum as its time base.
Since the time of its invention until about 1930, clocks using pendulum movements were the
most accurate. The swing of the pendulum depends on gravity and the length of the pendulum
inside the clock.

Sebuah jam bandul mempunyai bandul sebagai asas masa. Sejak masa penciptaannya kira-
kira tahun 1930, jam yang menggunakan pergerakan bandul merupakan paling tepat. Ayunan
bandul bergantung kepada gravity dan panjang bandul di dalam jam.

Based on the above information and your knowledge on relationship between period and the
length of the pendulum :

Berdasarkan maklumat di atas dan pengetahuan anda mengenai hubungan antara tempoh
masa dan panjang bandul :

(a) State one suitable inference.

(b) State one suitable hypothesis.

(c) With the use of apparatus such as a pendulum bob, metre ruler, stop watch, string and
other apparatus, describe an experiment framework to investigate the hypothesis
stated in 4(b).

Dengan menggunakan radas seperti ladung, pembaris meter, jam randik, tali dan
radas lain, terangkan satu rangka kerja eksperimen untuk menyiasat hipotesis yang
anda nyatakan dalam 4(b).
