FUNDING RESOURCES

FOR HIRING & TRAINING

Finding, hiring, and keeping skilled employees is often an expensive challenge. With funding and
resources available to assist your company in offsetting some of those costs, FCWS can help build your
capacity to bring aboard and train new employees and keep your current employees trained in the skills
your organization needs most.

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT):

The On-the-Job Training (OJT)
program at Frederick County Work-
force Services is available to help
Frederick County employers alleviate
some of the costs associated with
hiring and training new employees.

Employers can be reimbursed for up to
50% of the OJT employees wages
during the training period.

By hiring an OJT employee, you will
also save money in your recruitment
budget!

The hands-on On-the-Job Training
approach ensures that new employees
will be trained to suit the specific needs
of your organization.

The process is simple and effective!
