The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program at Frederick County Work- force Services is available to help Frederick County employers alleviate some of the costs associated with hiring and training new employees.
Employers can be reimbursed for up to 50% of the OJT employees wages during the training period.

MARYLAND BUSINESS WORKS:
Does your business need to train for industry recognized certifications or credentials? Does your business have skill shortage issues, including limited English proficiency, affecting your growth or retention that can be remedied by employee training? The Maryland Business Works Program provides funding to support private sector employer strategies for upgrad- ing the skills of currently employed workers. Fifty percent of the employers training costs are reimbursed through the Maryland Business Works Program.
