CT STUDY OF HEAD
Infratentorial
Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.
Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.
Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.
Supratentorial
Both the cerebral parenchyma show normal gray and white matter differentiation.
Basal cisterns are clear.
Left lateral ventricle more prominent than right .Third and right lateral ventricles are
normal in size .
No midline shift is seen.
OPINION:
LATERAL VENTRICULAR ASYMMETRY [ NORMAL VARIANT ] .
NO EVIENCE SU!!ESTIVE O" ANY "OCAL PARENC#YMAL ISEASE
OR ANY SPACE OCCUPYIN! LESION IS IENTI"IE.
Clinical correlation is necessary.
