Courtesy Associate
As a courtesy associate, also known as a cart pusher, I was responsible for collecting and
returning carts that previous customers left outside and inside for the next customer
who entered Wal-Mart. I was also subject to heavy lifting and loading items into the
vehicles of customers who purchased them, as well as restocking shelves and other
miscellaneous duties or assignments that had to be completed.
Cashier and Cook
As a cashier at LaRosa's, my duties were to collect and supply the correct amount of
funds to and from the customer for purchases that they made. I folded boxes and
restocked the front counter of the necessary items that were needed to maximize
efficiency and productivity. I also handled credit, debit, and gift cards and charged the
correct amount to their account for the order that they placed.
As a cook at LaRosa's, I was responsible for handling food and providing the product with
the appropriate amount of toppings. I used other necessary tools to help me get my job
completed and keep the company moving.
Summer Technology Intern
As a technology intern, I learned how to reimage, troubleshoot and reboot laptops and
desktops. I was given the necessary credentials to adequately complete my job and
prepare the equipment for usage during next school year. I took inventory of the
districts equipment and learned about CRT's, viruses, motherboards, disk drives, and
much more. I also cleaned the computers internally so that they were free of dust and
dirt, and so that they were able to maintain maximum product life.
