Learning Experiences:
1. Before the students enter the class, place enlarged copies of the book
pages from The Little Refugee that are randomly numbered and not
in sequence as the book.
2. To begin the lesson, inform students that you have placed images of
the book images from The Little Refugee around the class. And that
it is their job to analyse these images and we all did in the previous
lesson on the first three pages and that they also required to place
these in sequence of events, as in the book.
3. Explain that it is their job to review each image and make inference
based on images.
4. Students are to record their responses in their English books
5. Remind students that this is a silent activity and should not debate
about the images. And that there can be only 2 students at anyone
image at a time. They can only move to another image when there is
space.
6. Remind students that answers should be original and that they should
not be asking each other about their opinions on the images, until
class discussion at the end.
