Community meetings held this past summer produced discussions on relationships with the youth and the use of police substations so children would have access to computers. A resource center, located at 807-F Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, has been donated by Thomasville Church Homes and has opened up for the children of the community. The center offers reading and computer skill building opportunities that will help with homework, research projects, or craft making.
The center is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 5:00 p.m. 6:30 p.m. Staff members will be on-site during hours of operation.
