The Thomasville Police Department has partnered with the community to open up a resource
center for children.

Community meetings held this past summer produced discussions on relationships with the
youth and the use of police substations so children would have access to computers. A resource
center, located at 807-F Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, has been donated by Thomasville Church
Homes and has opened up for the children of the community. The center offers reading and
computer skill building opportunities that will help with homework, research projects, or craft
making.

The center is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 5:00 p.m. 6:30 p.m.
Staff members will be on-site during hours of operation.
