Fourth Grade Interim Report

Mrs. Woods and Mrs. Lantin







Attached is our first interim report for fourth grade. Our students completed a
self-assessment and set goals for the upcoming weeks. Fourth graders are learning about
who they are as learners. Please take a few moments to talk through this information with
your student. As you review the interim, here are some notes to clarify the current
expectations in the personal achievement area. As the year progresses these expectations
will continue to increase.

I can demonstrate organizational skills/responsibility for assignments.
keeps papers and materials in assigned places
Turns in class work in a timely fashion
Completes homework assignments and weekly reading minutes (100 minutes and
parent signature)

I can produce works of high quality
Shows consistently strong efforts
Completes work neatly

I can cooperate with peers.
Participates in groups and partnerships
Shares the workload in groups and partnerships
Discusses topics respectfully; disagrees in a kind way
Concentrates on the task at hand

I can follow directions and work on task.
Listens and follows large group directions.
Uses time wisely in order to complete tasks.
Avoids distractions by finding a quiet work place
Refrains from distracting others

I can participate in class discussions.
Comments appropriately and on topic
Demonstrates understanding through verbal and non verbal cues.
Looks at the speaker and listens intently

Controls body with hands to self
Speaks in turn; avoids blurting out ideas

I can follow classroom routines.
makes lunch choice, reads morning message, completes morning tasks efficiently,
records homework in planner, cleans up promptly etc.
